Shure UA8-900-1000 1/2 Wave Omnidirectional Antenna 900-1000 MHz

The Shure UA8-900-1000 is a 1/2 wave omnidirectional receiver antenna in the 900-1000 MHz frequency range. 

Shure UA8 1/2 wave antennas replace the previous UA820 antennas and are designed to work with Axient, UHF-R, ULX-D, ULX, SLX, and BLX4R receivers as well as PSM1000 & PSM900 transmitters (frequency range dependent).  There's no more guessing at what angle your antennas are because the UA8 antenna uses notches in the flexible hinge joint that can be locked into a 0-, 45-, and 90-degree position related to the horizontal or vertical position for more flexibility related to RF reception.

UA8 antennas are great as replacement antennas, backup antennas, or even to switch out 1/4 wave antennas.  Replacing stock 1/4 wave antennas with 1/2 wave antennas like the UA8 can sometimes result in increased RF gain, particularly when using antennas remotely away from the receiver.  The UA8 has an approximate length of 12-13" (some longer, some shorter) with varying internal dipole diameters/lengths which allow the UA8 to be frequency range-specific.  The UA8 is sold individually.  For a true diversity system, please order two.
