The MAUI 28 G3 3-Way Speaker System delivers a huge, powerful and precise sound featuring 1,030 W RMS power (2,060 W peak), suitable for all applications: as a main PA for concerts, a sound system for mobile DJs or a public address system at weddings, corporate events and many more.
With its sleek and elegant design, the MAUI 28 G3 looks very appealing. The two aluminium column elements sit at the front edge of the subwoofer, further enhancing the seamless visual impression. The columns are equipped with 12 x 3.5'' midrange drivers and 2 x 1'' tweeters, providing an even sound distribution with constant horizontal dispersion in combination with the innovative phase plug design. In addition, the BEM-optimised waveguide ahead of the tweeters carries the high frequencies even to the very rear audience areas.
The LD Systems engineers also took great care of the crossover filter between midrange and tweeter speakers. The aim was to reduce harmonic distortion and interference to make the sound even more transparent, vibrant and powerful. The result speaks for itself: a highly precise reproduction of vocals and instruments across the entire 120° x 30° dispersion field. The columns of the MAUI 28 G3 are designed as cardioid speakers. Equipped with a single 12'' woofer and four bass reflex ports, the MAUI 28 G3 subwoofer delivers a clear, tight and punchy low end down to 37 Hz. By using a second subwoofer, the bass response can also be increased of up to 6 dB and it can also be driven in cardioid configuration at the push of a button (cardioid preset). This is especially true for the MAUI G3 MIX versions with integrated digital 6-channel mixer. All components are on board and perfectly coordinated: mixer, effects, dynamic processing, DSP controller, power amplifiers and speakers. Wireless remote control via smartphone or tablet using the free MAUI app (iOS or Android) is also included.
The MAUI 28 G3 MIX is a highly developed, extremely powerful and smart premium class column PA system with particularly superior audio qualities. It delivers a large, powerful and precise sound with 1,030 W RMS power (2,060 W peak) that is impressive in all applications: as a main PA for singer/songwriters and small bands, as a sound system for mobile DJ-Plus formations or as a sound system at weddings, company parties and other events.
The built-in 6-channel mixer adapts to the user's preferences via the Easy or Expert mode. The user decides whether he prefers intuitive 3-band EQs or a 5-way fully parametric system. A comprehensive effects section provides the entire range of reverb, delay and dynamics editing options. All mixer and effect settings can be controlled wirelessly via the app.
For stereo applications, two MAUI 28 G3 MIX can be linked via SysLink®. In this case, twice the number of mixer channels is available, and with the help of the REMOTE button, all channels can even be controlled from one system.
With its elegant design, the MAUI 28 G3 MIX looks particularly harmonious. The two aluminum column elements in the MAUI G3 series are located on the front edge of the subwoofer, which further reinforces the seamless visual impression. The columns contain 12 x 3.5'' midrange speakers, which, in combination with the innovative phase plug design and the 2 x 1'' tweeters, ensure even sound distribution with constant horizontal radiation. In addition, the BEM-optimized waveguide in front of the tweeters transports the high frequencies to the rear audience areas.
The developers also worked on the crossover point, the transition between the midrange and tweeter speakers, to reduce harmonic distortion and cancellation and make the sound even more transparent and powerful. The result: a particularly precise reproduction of vocals and instruments across the entire 120° x 30° radiation range.
The columns of the MAUI 28 G3 MIX are designed as cardioid speakers. This ensures controlled low-mids at the front and attenuation of up to 18 dB at the rear, as well as a clean stage sound field.
With its larger 12" chassis and four bass reflex ports, the noticeably more powerful subwoofer reproduces bass down to 37 Hz clearly and powerfully. When using a second subwoofer, the bass range can be amplified by 6 dB and operated in cardioid configuration at the touch of a button (preset). In addition, the extremely durable polyurea coating of the subwoofer can easily withstand even the toughest demands "on the road".

The safest and easiest way to transport your MAUI® 28 G3 columns.
This padded bag with smooth zip is made of durable and water-repellent nylon 1680D.
Inside, an 8 mm thick padding between the columns protects against scratches. Additional protection is provided by the rubber feet on the bottom of the bag. Two included foam caps fit perfectly on the multipin contacts to protect them from damage and ensure a secure fit in the bag.
The bag has two handles that can be connected by a velcro fastener with padding to form a carrying handle. The adjustable shoulder strap with shoulder pad, is ideal for carrying the columns and having your hands free for other equipment.

With the padded protective cover made of durable and water-repellent 1680D nylon, the MAUI 28 G3 subwoofer is optimally protected from the weather and other influences. The 8 mm thick lined protective cover can be easily slipped over the standing subwoofer and, together with the optional MAUI 28 G3 CB castor board, offers comprehensive protection from all sides. The reinforced cut-outs including Velcro flap on the sides and top allow the subwoofer to be gripped and transported even with protection.
For stowing accessories such as mains and XLR cables, the protective cover has an external pocket.
