This is especially true for the MAUI G3 MIX versions with integrated digital 6-channel mixer. All components are on board and perfectly coordinated: mixer, effects, dynamic processing, DSP controller, power amplifiers and speakers. Wireless remote control via smartphone or tablet using the free MAUI app (iOS or Android) is also included.
The MAUI 28 G3 MIX is a highly developed, extremely powerful and smart premium class column PA system with particularly superior audio qualities. It delivers a large, powerful and precise sound with 1,030 W RMS power (2,060 W peak) that is impressive in all applications: as a main PA for singer/songwriters and small bands, as a sound system for mobile DJ-Plus formations or as a sound system at weddings, company parties and other events.
The built-in 6-channel mixer adapts to the user's preferences via the Easy or Expert mode. The user decides whether he prefers intuitive 3-band EQs or a 5-way fully parametric system. A comprehensive effects section provides the entire range of reverb, delay and dynamics editing options. All mixer and effect settings can be controlled wirelessly via the app.
For stereo applications, two MAUI 28 G3 MIX can be linked via SysLink®. In this case, twice the number of mixer channels is available, and with the help of the REMOTE button, all channels can even be controlled from one system.
With its elegant design, the MAUI 28 G3 MIX looks particularly harmonious. The two aluminum column elements in the MAUI G3 series are located on the front edge of the subwoofer, which further reinforces the seamless visual impression. The columns contain 12 x 3.5'' midrange speakers, which, in combination with the innovative phase plug design and the 2 x 1'' tweeters, ensure even sound distribution with constant horizontal radiation. In addition, the BEM-optimized waveguide in front of the tweeters transports the high frequencies to the rear audience areas.
The developers also worked on the crossover point, the transition between the midrange and tweeter speakers, to reduce harmonic distortion and cancellation and make the sound even more transparent and powerful. The result: a particularly precise reproduction of vocals and instruments across the entire 120° x 30° radiation range.
The columns of the MAUI 28 G3 MIX are designed as cardioid speakers. This ensures controlled low-mids at the front and attenuation of up to 18 dB at the rear, as well as a clean stage sound field.
With its larger 12" chassis and four bass reflex ports, the noticeably more powerful subwoofer reproduces bass down to 37 Hz clearly and powerfully. When using a second subwoofer, the bass range can be amplified by 6 dB and operated in cardioid configuration at the touch of a button (preset). In addition, the extremely durable polyurea coating of the subwoofer can easily withstand even the toughest demands "on the road".
The MAUI 28 G3 MIX is a real sound machine, but its practical features also make it ideal for everyday use by solo entertainers, singer/songwriters or small bands. Transport is as easy as usual, and the improved, invisible connectors between the elements provide increased stability when setting it up - nothing can easily upset the MAUI...
